Are you open to the public?
Yes. We are not a not a private social club nor do we offer exclusive memberships.
What is the Knife Club?
Reserved for our most cherished guests, the Knife Club celebrates the bond between host and diner with a custom‑engraved steak knife, crafted with care. Inquiries: VIP@HFCNYC.com
Do you take reservations?
Yes. We recommend making a reservation via OpenTable or by calling our restaurant during business hours. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. Walk-ins are welcome, but availability may be limited. For reservations of 8 or more people, please call.
Is there a dress code?
At Hunt & Fish, we take pride in offering an elevated yet comfortable dining experience. We ask our guests to dress in smart, sophisticated attire to complement the restaurant’s iconic atmosphere. Gentlemen are requested to remove their hats in the dining room.
For the comfort and enjoyment for all of our diners, we ask you to avoid:
Athletic wear and hoodies
Tank tops without an overgarment
Clothing with offensive language or imagery
Excessive revealing or sheer attire
Exposed undergarments
Our goal is to ensure every guest feels part of the classic steakhouse experience, whether dining for business, celebration or a night out.
Are you open on major holidays?
We are open for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & New Years Eve. Kindly, check OpenTable for updated hours. Please see our Hours of Operations for daily hours.
Are children welcome in the restaurant?
Yes of course children are welcome, but please note due to tight seating we cannot accommodate strollers in the dining room.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. Please inform your servers of any allergies or dietary needs & our chefs will gladly make accommodations whenever possible.
Do you have corkage?
We welcome guests to bring bottles of their own wine for a corkage fee of $95 per 750ml bottle. Wines must not be on the current wine list.
Do you do take away?
Yes. Available for take away or delivery on GrubHub.
How many people can you accommodate for an event?
We offer private and semi-private dining spaces. Please visit the Private Events pages to see our offerings.
Do you allow photography?
We welcome photos & social posts. However, we kindly ask you to refrain from flash photography.

Our flagship location on West 44th Street was founded by Nelson Braff, Eytan Sugarman, Dave Barrett & Anthony Scaramucci.

2023 — Hunt & Fish Grill
In partnership with SSP America, Hunt & Fish Grill opened at LaGuardia Airport, bringing our signature hospitality to travelers. Located in Terminal B, it offers everything from a quick bite before your flight to a relaxed meal during a layover—making every stop feel like part of the journey.
